We work to alleviate the effects of severe poverty and social exclusion in Mallorca. Help us to fight the poverty in Palma!
Associació Tardor began in 2014 with the target of alleviating the effects of poverty and social exclusion for the people who are outside the welfare system. It gives feedback to basic needs such as food, security, sanitation and residential space. The aim of our work is to regain their dignity and for this it is essential that, in addition to a decent place to live, they can receive training and education to achieve greater personal autonomy and a dignified socio-occupational reintegration.
Tardor works with 3 different aims:
1. Establish self-sustaining care centers, financially and in terms of management, thanks to voluntary work, solidarity and non-profit making.
2. Provided food and hygiene products to individuals and families through soup kitchens.
3. Facilitating the training and education necessary for their autonomy through the implementation of social enterprises that reinvest their net profits in new social services.
4. Create social enterprises whose net profits are reinvested in assisting the neediest and poorest of Palma de Mallorca.
At Associació Tardorour values are our guide and compass that let our life with other people in a fair way, with the aim of reaching a more fair society.
Helping any person in a situation of helplessness is a way of building a better world.
Ideas do not become realities without effort and hard work.
Putting ourselves in the situation of our fellow human beings, to understand them, support them and help them in everything they need, not based on what we think.
Our commitment, voluntary and active contribution is to help people achieve their full development. It all begins in ourselves. We have to be an example.
A sincere intention to do good to others in terms of our possibilities. We think is contagious.
We think in equality and dignity for everyone.
